Finance Manager

An exciting opportunity for a dynamic Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations of two key contracts within a vibrant, fast-paced industry. Reporting to the Finance Director, this is a visible and influential role that requires strong business partnering skills and the ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the organisation.

The position involves providing accurate and insightful financial reporting, supporting operational performance, and promoting ongoing improvements. It’s well-suited to a finance professional with a proactive mindset and a hands-on approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a Finance Business Partner to Contract Directors, supporting delivery of financial targets
• Use forecasting and trend analysis to highlight financial risks and opportunities
• Deliver clear, timely financial and operational reporting to internal and external stakeholders
• Manage and develop a team of five, including finance assistants and supply chain staff
• Present financial performance at stakeholder meetings
• Support the budgeting process for regional contracts and overheads
• Identify and lead initiatives to improve financial and operational performance
• Provide training and support to operations teams to help maximise contract efficiency
• Collaborate with a wider team of finance professionals to ensure best practice across the business

Experience and Skills Requirements:

• Qualified or part-qualified accountant (CIMA or ACA)
• Demonstrated experience in finance, ideally in multi-site, hospitality or retail settings
• Proven ability to analyse large data sets and identify actionable insights
• Excellent Excel and financial modelling skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Confident interacting with senior stakeholders and operational staff alike
• Highly motivated, proactive, and commercially focused
