Sales Executive

Our Godalming based client is looking for a technical Sales Executive to join their team. This role focuses on picking up new business and responding to sales enquiries quickly and accurately.

This position will be ideal for anyone who thrives in a busy and fast-paced sales environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answer telephone sales calls and respond to email enquiries from new and existing customers
• Generate quotations and process sales orders, reviewing demand to ensure that orders are accurately processed
• Advise customers on alternative solutions, stock availability and lead times
• Proactively manage any questions or issues, liaising with our technical support team as required
• Build customer relationships and rapport to ensure customer retention through excellent telephone skills
• Target and identify new potential business opportunities

 

Experience and Skills Requirements:

• Two to three years’ experience in a similar customer service or sales role
• Ability to work calmly and with good humour under pressure
• High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail
• Can-do adaptable attitude to challenges
• Customer-focused approach with excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent time management & personal organisational skills
• Comfortable with communicating with customers at all levels of opportunity
• Desire to develop a strong technical understanding
